Valley (The Glacian Trilogy #3)

Stacey McEwan

Adult Romantasy

The final instalment in the bestselling Glacian Trilogy from TikTok darling Stacey McEwan sees the conclusion to Dawsyn Sabar’s epic romantasy quest to free her people… great for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Danielle L. Jensen and Raven Kennedy. With a contingent of hundreds, Dawsyn must lead her people home, but she has no way of knowing what will lie ahead, or what might follow behind…

“All things find a way back home.”

At the bottom of the Chasm, Dawsyn and her followers traipse through the darkness to find their long-awaited home. But there are whispers all around them and safety is never guaranteed. With her powers much depleted, and food supplies running low, will they even survive the journey?

Above, the Queen and the new King of Glacia still bay for Dawsyn’s blood, and they will not stop in their quest to destroy her. And with the help of someone Dawsyn thought her friend, they creep ever closer. Long-buried secrets will be revealed, hearts will be broken and a new day will dawn. Who will reign in this climactic conclusion to the epic Glacian Trilogy?

My Opinion

“If morality is a requirement of royalty, then a crown will likely burst into flame should it ever meet her head.”

4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5) Dawsyn is on the quest to officially free her people. The way is dangerous with many factors prohibiting their success. They are traveling in the dark with very few provisions and no end in sight. Is she really saving them or is she unknowingly bringing them to their deaths?

I love a good dystopia and McEwan does the job well! I’ve been endeared to each character and have been committed to seeing Dawsyn’s plan through, but it seems impossible! The Queen and new King will stop at nothing to ruin her and they keep trying. People are starting to doubt her and her abilities. Betrayal is on the rise, lives are at stake and possibly even worse; their imprisonment is possible once again. The story flows evenly with many exciting moments and had me guessing until the end. And Thaddius’ back story was a favorite. What a ride! It ended with a bang and was a very satisfying series conclusion. I’ve loved this series and if you love a bit of spice in your romantasy with lots of dangerous reveals then you’ll love this one!
